Hockey-Graphs is excited to be co-hosting the Seattle Hockey Analytics Conference as VanHAC moves south of the border for the year! We will be working with the University of Washington and NHLtoSeattle.com.
Due to the success of last year’s conference, SeaHAC will be a 3 day conference like the previous year’s VanHAC, with 2 days of talks, tutorials, keynotes and great discussions. There will also be plenty of social events throughout the weekend.
All knowledge levels are welcome. If you are interested, you are more than welcome! Nobody will be turned away, everyone is encouraged to attend.
Date: March 8th to 10th, 2019
Location: University District, Seattle, WA, United States
Website: (TBA)
The Call for Presentations is currently open with a deadline of January 31th, 2018. See the website for more details or go here to submit your talk. We will once again be holding a session for Lightning Talks, which are informal 5 minute presentations. You do not need to submit a full abstract if you’d like to do a lightning talk but keep your eye on the event page for information and sign-ups closer to the date of the event.
Registration has yet to open as we tabulate the final costs to host the venue, among other factors. Check back here or on Twitter, or add yourself to our mailing list, for more information on when it will open. (Note: Expect participants to be capped at around ~240 people.)
Watch for the SeaHAC page for updates as they are released!
